Start with the location of your repositories, team, and build artifacts, then check remote connection quality from your network to the target region. ArmMacs currently offers five regions, and every Cloud Mac is a dedicated physical machine, not a virtual machine.

SELECTION METHOD

Choose a region using four real-world factors

Do not decide based on map distance alone. Remote desktop performance is also affected by your ISP, corporate network policies, cross-region routing, Wi-Fi quality, and session resolution, so we do not publish fixed latency promises that cannot be continuously verified.

    Repository location

    Identify the regions hosting your main Git repositories, dependency mirrors, and package caches. When frequently pulling large repositories, a stable node-to-repository connection is usually more important than the node’s distance from the operator.

    Check: cloning, dependency downloads, submodules, and large-file transfers.
  2. 02

    Team working locations

    List where team members who routinely use VNC remote desktop or SSH are located. If members span multiple regions, test each one instead of relying on results from a single office.

    Check: peak hours, corporate networks, and home networks.
  3. 03

    Build artifact routing

    Determine where archives, test reports, logs, and other build artifacts ultimately go. Pipelines that continuously upload large artifacts should minimize cross-region transfers between the node and destination storage.

    Check: artifact size per upload, upload frequency, and retry behavior.
  4. 04

    Remote operation experience

    Test the network in the target region before deciding whether its graphical interface suits frequent interaction. For unattended CI/CD jobs, prioritize repository and artifact paths instead.

    Check: packet loss, jitter, session reconnects, and keyboard layout.

Test on your real work networks

Record the test date, local time, access network, packet loss, and jitter, and verify repository pulls, artifact uploads, and remote desktop separately. A single network test describes only the route at that moment; it cannot replace ongoing observation.

All four nodes support the same three base configurations, but inventory changes independently. Validate all three paths: developer to node, node to repository, and node to build artifact destination.

Ideal for teams with members in Southeast Asia or code and artifact services in the region. For unattended builds, focus on dependency downloads and artifact uploads; for graphical interfaces, also validate connections from both office and remote users.

  • Check whether the corporate network restricts VNC remote desktop or SSH connections.
  • Confirm that project data may be stored on the Singapore node under your internal policies.

Ideal for projects whose developers, repositories, or build artifact destinations are mainly in Japan. For international teams, do not rely only on the Japan office results; also test session performance from other common access locations during peak working hours.

  • Verify that the remote keyboard layout, input method, and shortcuts match your workflow.
  • Test Xcode dependency downloads, archive uploads, and log return paths.
  • Confirm packet loss, jitter, and reconnect behavior for members connecting across regions.

Korea-based development and CI/CD workflows

Ideal for Korea-based teams, connections to Korean engineering services, or projects requiring continuous builds in the local network environment. If the team includes members elsewhere, include every office location in the same connection test record.

  • Check the Korean keyboard layout and remote desktop resolution settings.
  • Confirm data-location requirements for build logs, certificates, and artifacts.

Cross-region collaboration between southern China and Southeast Asia

Ideal for teams distributed across southern China and Southeast Asia that need shared access to one Cloud Mac. Actual connection quality depends on local ISPs and enterprise egress routes; geographic proximity does not guarantee the same experience at every hour.

  • Run connection tests separately on the office and backup networks.
  • Verify repository pulls, dependency installation, and artifact uploads.
  • Record session interruptions, reconnects, and screen responsiveness during peak hours.

UNITED STATES WEST

Connect to US West engineering workflows

When repositories, dependency services, build artifacts, or most engineering team members are in the western US, this node can reduce cross-region pipeline round trips. If operators are in Asia-Pacific or another distant region, test the local network first before using it for frequent graphical interaction.

Each chip, memory, and storage combination has its own SKU. If Pulse M4 is in stock at a node, Vector M4 or Apex M4 Pro may not be; do not infer the status of a higher-memory model from a lower-memory configuration.

    Then filter candidate nodes by repository, team, and artifact routes.

  3. Confirm live status

    Open the console to confirm which configurations of that model are currently orderable in the target region.

  4. Review the order

    Before payment, confirm the model, region, rental term, and storage add-ons again.

DATA LOCATION

Confirm data-storage rules before choosing a node

Node selection affects where code, certificates, logs, models, and build artifacts are processed. Teams should independently confirm permitted regions based on project contracts, internal security policies, and applicable compliance requirements.

Items to document in the project checklist

  • Source code:Which regions may store repository copies, uncommitted changes, and dependency caches.
  • Certificates and keys:Apply least-privilege access and define responsibility for import, use, rotation, and deletion.
  • Build logs:Check whether logs contain paths, environment variables, access tokens, or internal project information.
  • Build artifacts:Define export destinations and retention periods for archives, test reports, models, and caches.
  • End of rental:Complete data export, sensitive-credential cleanup, and pipeline unbinding in advance; do not wait until the expiration date to begin exporting.

Choose your model and region, then place your order

Confirm live inventory, rental term, storage add-ons, and final order details in the management portal. When inventory is available, payment confirmation takes about 30 seconds, physical node allocation about 2 minutes, and credential generation plus connectivity checks about 1 minute 30 seconds—around 4 minutes total.

All nodes operate normally 365 days a year. Orders are settled in USD and support only USDT-TRC20 and Visa / Mastercard / Amex (via Stripe); available payment gateways are determined by the backend response.
